How the Magic Trick Works: Cutting Off Effective Resistance
Chaos Agents, Part 2: Libet Experiments and Readiness Potential
"War is the most readily available form of chaos." -Frank Herbert
There are numerous articles coming soon on Chaos Agents—some of which relate to the FTX scandal. In the meantime, the exact right Substack article showed up in my inbox, and I had an epiphany worth sharing. From the article,
Libet gave participants of his experiments a simple task, while measuring their brain activity: they had to decide to flex a finger whenever they wished, and note the position on a fast-moving clock at the precise moment they took the decision.
The result was that the brain showed activity at least 400ms before the participants became aware of their “decision making.”
Here’s a diagram showing what’s going on:1
“RP” stands for “Readiness Potential,” that is, the supposed build-up in brain activity before the decision to act and the subsequent action. What we see is that this brain activity starts before the participants became aware of their intention to flex the finger.
The results have led the no-Free-Will crowd to exclaim, “see, everything is driven by your brain, and you taking decisions is just an illusion!”
However, this seems to be a typical case of taking something very specific and isolated out of context and then drawing conclusions based on existing biases.
First, Libet himself thought that there is still enough time between our awareness of intention and the action itself for us to “veto” the decision and stop the movement. This would leave free will intact: remember that even the tiniest bit of actual free will leads to the philosophical position of what is called libertarian free will, that is, genuine free will with the power to really cause something.
Rather than get into the fundamental debate over free will, I'd like to make the practical observation:
If you can predict the rise of somebody's RP, you have the opportunity to disrupt the process as a way of preventing action.
Does anyone think that the Stanford Research Institute-infused DoD Psychological warfare Operations Groups (POGs) aren't aware of this? Or the Nudge Units cast from Western intelligence into governments and other organizations around the world aren't benefiting from controlled lack of expression of opposition?
Not. A. Chance.
So, if there were something like a plan to reorganize the world into a global authoritarian government serving a new Global Military-Banking Complex (GMBC), using the pandemic as a smokescreen, there would be a need to starve any opposition of a combination of resources and organizational potential. The supply line breakdown (real or engineered) along with scary vaccine mandates accomplished the former pretty effectively. What would accomplish the latter?
Chaos Agents Defined
Now we have a good definition for a Chaos Agent:
A Chaos Agent is somebody whose job is to appear cooperative while sabotaging the Readiness Potential of potential adversaries.
If you're thinking, "Is this just another word to describe controlled opposition?" you're connecting to the conversation. I would describe a Chaos Agent as a particular form of controlled opposition that operates with a particular psychology in mind. And their tactics are most appropriate (and maddening) in the era of Fifth-Generation Warfare.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of ways a Chaos Agent can hinder organic movements from taking shape:
Step in as organizer. From such a position, a wide array of sabotage is possible.
Spread mid/dis/mal-information and generally sow confusion.
Formulate poor plans, or fail to execute their parts of agreed missions.
Start fights among those organizing to oppose tyranny.
Siphon funds, and redirect them to supporting their own endeavors.
What Can You Do About It?
First, you should consider that organizing more locally means that you more often know whom you're dealing with. The leadership that emerges is generally well-understood by their community, with a shared background. They have to look those they work on behalf of in the eyes every day.
Be discerning—more so with those whom you see in articles and videos directed from the interwebz. Understand that even small media outlets may very well be pre-organized machinery in a global civil war. Ask yourself what you do and don't understand fully, and keep an open mind to new information. We are being jerked around by an array of psychological operations that makes proxy trust harder than ever before to employ with high fidelity.
Educate: The more people who understand each aspect of the tools of warfare used, the more people can step away from helping the GMBC establish a new global dictatorship.
In close, I'd like to note that while my three-hour talk on Chaos Agents and further evidence of a Grand Unified Theory of FTX is available for supporters only on Locals, the livestreams are currently available for everyone in the RTE Locals community, and much of what we will discuss will eventually be in RTE articles and videos in our usual channels, when ripe.
Maybe it’s worth adding to the ways a chaos agent operates that they might be keen on passing out black pills: create the reality of so much doom that any resistance becomes futile. This defeatist outlook sucks out hope from even the most spiritually inclined in us.
Tech is my nemesis so possibly a user problem. Locals lets me watch Glenn Greenwald's streams no problem but wants $5.00 to view RTE content or even comment which I tried to do live and the pop up said only paid supporters can comment. Offers of free trials are a huge red flag for me & others burned by automatic billing who aren't willing to gamble on a new platform's cash sucking power and probably have some limiting impact on Locals participation.
