Mathew, thank you for the line "We still have more questions than answers, and we should still be wondering where we might be in the timeline of a propaganda campaign that seems designed to be too vast (because 'flood the zone') in scale for any one human to keep up with." I spend hours on this topic every day, just trying to keep up and piece together the bigger picture which continues to grow in scale and reach further back into history and I still feel I am so far from understanding it all. I'm currently reading Peter & Ginger Breggin's book, Covid-19 and the Global Predators. Just wanted to mention it to you, in case you haven't run into it. Thank you again for your inciteful analysis and calm approach to unraveling this charged situation. Voices like yours are a reminder that if we can figure this out together from a place of good faith, we can survive this mess and be the better for it.

None of us can keep up, entirely---particularly in a "verify, then trust" mode.

...And here we are 2 years later...wisdom thy name is you Matthew! Thank you for your substack and thank you for still questioning and never blindly obeying. This is the most important lesson we have learned in all of this craziness...believe in your intuition....question don’t follow ....stand up when you know something doesn’t make sense. Do not be afraid. Goodness and Truth come to the top.

Blessings Dear Sir🙏🏻🦋🙏🏻

Mathew, are you familiar with John Cullen’s work, an old data viz guy, or his premise that CoVID is hiding gain of function work on a lab escaped modified version of the 1918 flu virus? https://youtube.com/c/JohnEHoover

Not familiar, yet. Time constraints are more real than ever. Thank you for anything you bring to my attention with a good filter.

The CDC’s fluview front end allows the walkthrough of the data John Cullen references. It’s going to take some time but I’m setting aside a few days to pour through it myself. If it holds up then Fauci is the sacrificial ‘bishop’ indeed.

Wow, two months later...and Fauci is 'back' and going strong. He is back on CNN, PBS Newhour, and all over the internet giving his own brand of advice on vaccines and masks.

Interestingly, some media never even covered the Fauci emails...my family watches the PBS Newhour everyday and never saw it covered.

The Washington Post (which I understand was responsible for the FOIA request in the first place) either made Fauci out to be a hero -

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/interactive/2021/tony-fauci-emails/

or downplayed the allegations:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/06/03/alleged-fauci-smoking-gun-emails/

Most people do not venture outside their favorite media outlets. Unfortunately, to many, Fauci is still a hero, he is still the 'trusted voice' in this pandemic

This is a good example of how we know the whole game is rigged.

I am so, so grateful I stumbled upon your writings. You've done all the math that i tried to do, but with the actual knowhow. I've spent time teaching myself PowerBI just because I wanted to deal with the published data sets, but I lack formal statistical training.

I feel like I've been going crazy with the constant tug that nothing lines up. Thank you so much Matthew.

"Perhaps among the CCP's many lies, their claim of an intentional release by the U.S. military deserves examination."

Matthew, for someone who prides himself on thinking outside of the mainstream box, you certainly fell INTO the mainstream box on that one. "The CCP's many lies"? Where did you get that? From a U.S. State Department statement? Pompeo? the CIA? The MSM, regurgitating CIA propaganda? Who? Did it ever cross your mind that THEY LIE ABOUT CHINA as much and more than they lie about everything else? They lie about China for very good reason: because they see the onrushing collapse of U.S. empire, and rise of China, and they are desperate to stop it. This means convincing millions of people -- just like you, Matthew -- that the "Chicoms" are evil bastards lying and thieving and murdering. The idea is to whip up tons of hate in order to justify war. They ALWAYS do this: whip up tons of hate in order to justify war. Remember the babies/incubators in Iraq? the WMD? LIES. ALL LIES. And there have been countless lies just like that, before and since. If you fall under the sway of those lies, you become as evil as they are.

The issue of whether the CCP or the U.S. government lies is not an either-or. In fact, I think some of the lies are likely planned together. There are hints of that in the Fauci emails, and also in the team that went to China to study the origins, which included Ralph Baric, whom I trust very little at this point, and also a CCP propagandist.

Personally, I think much of the reason that the corporatists took so much business to China over the past 50 years is to smuggle profitable lies. There are a lot of liars in that game.

I'm sorry that my perspective on that level upsets you. I certainly did not get my own perspective from the CIA, which I do view as an organization for corporatist intelligence embedded in the U.S. government, which makes it very possible the world's least trustworthy.

Personally, I believe that the story of China's rise is itself disinformation. China's rise has been as a "low value added manufacturing and activity port" within the global corporatist empire, which is to say that most everything we hear in Western media about China is a lie.

My hope for the people of both nations is to find some way to be free of all that corruption. Focus on that perspective first, whether or not we see the details as the same. Otherwise, the liars win by dividing us. All of us will be fooled by some details. Let it be so in good faith and keep an open mind. I'm sure that I will find that some of my perspectives have been wrong. I'm changed my mind on numerous details during the pandemic.

In terms of debating points with me, trying to first reach calm, then walk me through your points and evidence carefully, or write your own blog posts and link them here. Let's be productive about this. Cheers.

Also, if any of my positions ever seem confusing on this level, look back at my kunlangeta series, though it's only one article as of yet. I have no interest in blaming a "country" in any geographical sense, or any bloodline, for much of anything. The problems of the world are generally game theoretic. In particular, the kunlangeta present the most difficult "hawks and doves" game theory problem. The kunlangeta are in all cultures, but in modern times escape getting pushed off the ice.

If by "they" you mean the prevailing power in Washington who serve corp donors, the overwhelming investment by DJIA crowd in China says there's deep cooperation that is fueling and thriving with China's rise. A quick search of Walmart or any big box store for "Made In China" goods should tip you off there's big money being made and corp titans never accidentally enrich challengers.

October 2021 ~ The China Securities Regulatory Commission gave Goldman Sachs the go-ahead to buy out Beijing Gao Hua Securities, its local partner, as Beijing tries to make good on a pledge it made in 2017 to allow foreign investment banks to fully own their China operations.

“This marks the start of a new chapter for our China business following a successful 17-year joint venture,” Goldman Sachs said in a memo on Sunday, adding that the approval would allow the investment bank to “position our firm for long-term growth and success in this market.”

Oh and btw, as a factual point, your assertion that CCP "claims intentional release" is WRONG, as demonstrated by the very link you gave. They are NOT claiming that. They are asking for even-handed investigation, which is entirely reasonable.
