Walking through the examples with the suggestion of scrolling back and forth and ignoring the P values is a priceless approach that transforms an overwhelming collection of hieroglyphics into a series of images that does tell a story we can read well enough to feel data confirms rather than confuses the analysis it accompanies.
By far the greatest blessing of the pandemic has been the vast array of incredible minds who have dropped their lives with highly specialized expertise to share pieces of the pandemic puzzle.

Nearly 5 million illegal immigrants have crossed U.S. borders in the 18 months since President Joe Biden took office, according to a new report.

A total of 4.9 million illegal aliens, including some 900,000 “gotaways” who evaded apprehension and have since disappeared into American communities, have entered the country by the end of July, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) said in a statement on Aug. 16.
“Roughly the equivalent of the entire population of Ireland has illegally entered the United States in the 18 months President Biden has been in office, with many being released into American communities,” FAIR President Dan Stein said in the press release.
He blamed Biden for putting the unprecedented surge down to external factors, not the administration’s own “sabotage” of immigration laws. After rolling back key Trump-era policies, Biden presided over the largest number of apprehensions of illegal immigrants at the U.S.–Mexico border in a calendar year in history, recording almost 1.9 million arrests last year.
“The endless flow of illegal aliens and the incursion of lethal narcotics pouring across our border will not end until this administration demonstrates a willingness to enforce our laws,” Stein said.
The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
New Surge
Two million illegal aliens have entered the country in the first 10 months of this financial year, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In June, more than 207,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.–Mexico border, making this the highest number of June apprehensions in history.
Although July saw a slim decline in CBP encounters at the southwest border of nearly 200,000, it turned out to be the 17th straight month with more than 150,000 encounters, representing a 325 percent increase over the average number of July apprehensions under the Trump administration, the statement reads.
Among the more than 213,000 illegal aliens deported from the border in July, only 37 percent of the arrests led to expulsions under Title 42—a 7 percent drop from last month. Border agents processed the majority of the rest under Title 8, which oftentimes lets illegal aliens be released into the U.S. interior while their cases sit in backlogged immigration courts.

Documents acquired by conservative news organization The Blaze, who submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) petition against the government agency demanding openness, detailed the extensive media effort.
The Blaze stated in an exclusive article on March 3 that papers acquired from the HHS revealed the Biden administration had “purchased advertising from major news organizations.”
The Biden administration also purchased ads in “legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations.”
“The government also relied on earned media featuring ‘influencers’ from ‘communities hit hard by COVID-19,'” the report kept going, going on to add that other “influencers” included “experts” such as White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci as well as other academics who endorsed the vaccinations in interview sessions.
The Blaze reported that legacy media and cable news networks that garnered federal payments for rolling COVID jab ads concurrently published “countless articles and video segments” about the experimental injections “that were nearly uniformly positive about the vaccine in terms of both its efficacy and safety.”
Regardless of the fact that nearly every media site that carried pro-vaccine HHS ads “produced stories covering the COVID-19 vaccines, the taxpayer dollars flowing to their companies were not disclosed to audiences in news reports,” the outlet claims.
According to The Blaze, the Biden administration purchased HHS advertising slots as part of a $1 billion federal campaign (read below) to “strengthen vaccine trust in the United States” for the financial year 2021.

The Biden administration – through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) – is paying mainstream media (MSM) companies to promote vaccines and suppress stories that could increase vaccine hesitancy.
Former MSM journalist Emerald Robinson outlined evidence of this conspiracy in a Substack article. She cited Chris Pandolfo of Blaze Media, who revealed in March 2022 that his organization has filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to HHS. The requests, she said, sought to find out if the Biden administration was covertly funding corporate media to push the lethal Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines on the population.
According to the independent journalist, Pandolfo found that almost all corporate media outlets took the money from the administration to push the COVID-19 vaccines.
Major news channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and fake news network CNN were named as recipients of the “advertising” money from HHS. Legacy media publications – including the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post – were also named in response to the FOIA requests. Aside from national media outlets, local newspapers and TV stations received money to publish articles and air video segments regarding the vaccine’s purported “efficacy and safety.”
Even worse, the HHS also paid off so-called conservative media outlets such as Fox News and Newsmax to spin positive stories about deadly and ineffective vaccines to their “suspicious” conservative viewers.
Robinson pointed out that the two conservative news outlets “took the money and said nothing to [their] conservative viewers,” which was confirmed by a whistleblower from inside Newsmax who reached out to her. The independent journalist added personal details to the scheme involving Newsmax‘s promotion of COVID-19 vaccines. Top executives of the outlet contacted Robinson and told her to stop any negative coverage of the vaccines in 2021, as they were “problematic.” She received this warning multiple times, albeit worded differently in each instance.
While the majority of corporate media employees kept their mouths closed, Robinson did not. She discussed the ban on negative vaccine coverage with other Newsmax producers and top anchors at the time. Both the producers and anchors she talked to expressed awareness of the fact that they could not provide negative coverage of the vaccines lest they suffer repercussions from the network.
Furthermore, public relations experts who worked with Newsmax told Robinson that medical experts and doctors who might say negative things about the new vaccines would not be booked as guests at all.
Robinson: MSM committing serious breach of journalistic ethics
In other words, the independent journalist pointed out that the Biden administration’s “advertising” money did not just pay for a pro-vaccine propaganda campaign at MSM outlets. It also paid for an outright ban on any sort of negative coverage on the COVID-19 vaccines.
“This is the largest and most comprehensive breach of journalistic ethics that has ever occurred. Almost all these media practitioners took the money, and everyone lied about the vaccines. Most of them also refused to report anything negative about the vaccines because they had been paid to close their eyes.”
Corporate news executives with no medical training and no expertise began making ludicrous announcements that were essentially blanket endorsements of deadly and untested vaccines. Some publications even featured advice from experts about how readers could convince vaccine-hesitant people in their lives to change their minds.
MSM outlets have been justifying their bias to report only one side of the narrative because they believe they are doing no harm by reporting only one side of the story. From their point of view, everything looks OK – but at the expense of one side being suppressed.
“We have just lived through the most extensive propaganda campaign in the history of the world,” concluded Robinson. “It was paid for with taxpayer dollars. You … [and] I paid for it. We will probably never know how much money was spent.”

Moderna is suing its chief competitor in the COVID-19 vaccine space, alleging that Pfizer and BioNTech stole key technology used in the development of that group's inoculation.
Both Moderna and the Pfizer-BioNTech partnership created vaccines based on messenger RNA technology, which teaches the body's immune system to target a specific protein found on a virus. In the case of the coronavirus, both targeted the spike protein extending out from the surface of the virus.
The Massachusetts-based company alleges that its competitor's vaccine infringes on patents that Moderna filed between 2010 and 2016.
"We are filing these lawsuits to protect the innovative (synthetic) mRNA technology platform that we pioneered, invested billions of dollars in creating, and patented during the decade preceding the COVID-19 pandemic, (A decade is 10 years so 2010 +10 = 2020, bang on when vaccines were first released under Trump's Emergency Protocol*) Moderna Chief Executive Officer Stéphane Bancel said in a statement provided by the company. "This foundational platform, which we began building in 2010, along with our patented work on coronaviruses in 2015 and 2016, enabled us to produce a safe and highly effective COVID-19 vaccine in record time after the pandemic struck."

Moderna said it will not seek to remove Comirnaty from the market but the company is seeking monetary compensation. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Massachusetts, seeks royalties, lost profits, attorneys' fees, interest and ongoing royalties.
Pfizer issued the following statement Friday morning:
"Pfizer/BioNTech has not yet fully reviewed the complaint but we are surprised by the litigation given the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine was based on BioNTech’s proprietary mRNA technology and developed by both BioNTech and Pfizer," the company said. "We remain confident in our intellectual property supporting the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and will vigorously defend against the allegations of the lawsuit."
Lots of retired folks in Northeast have 2nd homes in places like Florida, not necessarily wealthy , and some of them succumbed to either COVID or the jab in Florida after the 1st wave. Plus quite a few younger folks out of a job without being a homeowner or having a family just packed up and headed south, especially out of places like NYC. More important is adjusting expected deaths in 2022 to account for the pull forward of excess deaths from 2020-2021
The problem I see with excess mortality over 2 years in is expected deaths are calculated using 2017-2019 averages but with 1.4 million excess deaths which initially began in the NE expected deaths should decline.as such excess deaths in 2022 may be understated.
Couple of other observations. Excess lockdowns in 2020 in NE and West drove many to migrate South (Florida) and East (Texas) which may have increased deaths in SE.

VACCINE PIMPS: Biden administration has been paying MSM to push COVID vaccines that are killing and injuring millions
The Biden administration – through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) – is paying mainstream media (MSM) companies to promote vaccines and suppress stories that could increase vaccine hesitancy.
Former MSM journalist Emerald Robinson outlined evidence of this conspiracy in a Substack article. She cited Chris Pandolfo of Blaze Media, who revealed in March 2022 that his organization has filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to HHS. The requests, she said, sought to find out if the Biden administration was covertly funding corporate media to push the lethal Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines on the population.
According to the independent journalist, Pandolfo found that almost all corporate media outlets took the money from the administration to push the COVID-19 vaccines.
Major news channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and fake news network CNN were named as recipients of the “advertising” money from HHS. Legacy media publications – including the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post – were also named in response to the FOIA requests. Aside from national media outlets, local newspapers and TV stations received money to publish articles and air video segments regarding the vaccine’s purported “efficacy and safety.”
Even worse, the HHS also paid off so-called conservative media outlets such as Fox News and Newsmax to spin positive stories about deadly and ineffective vaccines to their “suspicious” conservative viewers.

Robinson pointed out that the two conservative news outlets “took the money and said nothing to [their] conservative viewers,” which was confirmed by a whistleblower from inside Newsmax who reached out to her. The independent journalist added personal details to the scheme involving Newsmax‘s promotion of COVID-19 vaccines. Top executives of the outlet contacted Robinson and told her to stop any negative coverage of the vaccines in 2021, as they were “problematic.” She received this warning multiple times, albeit worded differently in each instance.
While the majority of corporate media employees kept their mouths closed, Robinson did not. She discussed the ban on negative vaccine coverage with other Newsmax producers and top anchors at the time. Both the producers and anchors she talked to expressed awareness of the fact that they could not provide negative coverage of the vaccines lest they suffer repercussions from the network.
Furthermore, public relations experts who worked with Newsmax told Robinson that medical experts and doctors who might say negative things about the new vaccines would not be booked as guests at all.
Robinson: MSM committing serious breach of journalistic ethics
In other words, the independent journalist pointed out that the Biden administration’s “advertising” money did not just pay for a pro-vaccine propaganda campaign at MSM outlets. It also paid for an outright ban on any sort of negative coverage on the COVID-19 vaccines.
“This is the largest and most comprehensive breach of journalistic ethics that has ever occurred. Almost all these media practitioners took the money, and everyone lied about the vaccines. Most of them also refused to report anything negative about the vaccines because they had been paid to close their eyes.”
Corporate news executives with no medical training and no expertise began making ludicrous announcements that were essentially blanket endorsements of deadly and untested vaccines. Some publications even featured advice from experts about how readers could convince vaccine-hesitant people in their lives to change their minds.
MSM outlets have been justifying their bias to report only one side of the narrative because they believe they are doing no harm by reporting only one side of the story. From their point of view, everything looks OK – but at the expense of one side being suppressed.
“We have just lived through the most extensive propaganda campaign in the history of the world,” concluded Robinson. “It was paid for with taxpayer dollars. You … [and] I paid for it. We will probably never know how much money was spent.”

Evidence has emerged which proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the pharmaceutical giant Moderna, the company that has made billions through the sale of an experimental Covid-19 injection, actually created the Covid-19 virus.
They cited a Paper by Scientists in India, Switzerland, Italy and the US (cautiously entitled: MSH3 Homology and Potential Recombination Link to SARS-CoV-2 Furin Cleavage Site) in which they calculated that the chances of a 19 nucleotide sequence patented by Moderna randomly appearing in Covid-19 in circumstances where it does not appear anywhere else in nature are 1 in 3 trillion.
Furthermore they did not merely apply for a patent on 2016 February 4 with US9587003B2: as reported in the Daily Mail. They actually applied on 2013 December 16 for 4 patents with US9149506B2, US9216205B2, US9255129B2, US9301993B2:as well.
So Moderna had developed the 19 nucleotide gene sequence containing the Furin Cleavage Site which gives Covid19 its infectivity to humans by patented gain of function research as early as 2013, 6 years before the Wuhan outbreak took place. Not 3 as reported in the Mail and virally elsewhere..

Moderna seeking compensation including royalties, damages

Moderna is suing its chief competitor in the COVID-19 vaccine space, alleging that Pfizer and BioNTech stole key technology used in the development of that group's inoculation.
Both Moderna and the Pfizer-BioNTech partnership created vaccines based on messenger RNA technology, which teaches the body's immune system to target a specific protein found on a virus. In the case of the coronavirus, both targeted the spike protein extending out from the surface of the virus.
The Massachusetts-based company alleges that its competitor's vaccine infringes on patents that Moderna filed between 2010 and 2016.
"We are filing these lawsuits to protect the innovative (synthetic) mRNA technology platform that we pioneered, invested billions of dollars in creating, and patented during the decade preceding the COVID-19 pandemic, (A decade is 10 years so 2010 +10 = 2020, bang on when vaccines were first released under Trump's Emergency Protocol*) Moderna Chief Executive Officer Stéphane Bancel said in a statement provided by the company. "This foundational platform, which we began building in 2010, along with our patented work on coronaviruses in 2015 and 2016, enabled us to produce a safe and highly effective COVID-19 vaccine in record time after the pandemic struck."
Moderna, which developed its vaccine with support from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was the first to begin testing its vaccine in humans. *That first shot was given at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Research Institute in Seattle in March of 2020*. Pfizer announced its first clinical trial began in May.
Pfizer and BioNTech, however, was the first to receive emergency authorization in the United States and was also the first to be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Moderna said that it pledged in October of 2020 not to enforce its patents while the pandemic continued but altered that policy in March of this year. The company said it would now only enforce its rights in the world's richest nations, retroactive only to March 8, 2022, while continuing to allow the COVID-19 vaccine patents to be used in 92 low- and middle-income countries."Moderna expects Pfizer and BioNTech to compensate Moderna for Comirnaty's ongoing use of Moderna's patented technologies," said Moderna Chief Legal Officer Shannon Thyme Klinger. "Our mission to create a new generation of transformative medicines for patients by delivering on the promise of mRNA science cannot be achieved without a patent system that rewards and protects innovation."
Moderna said it will not seek to remove Comirnaty from the market but the company is seeking monetary compensation. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Massachusetts, seeks royalties, lost profits, attorneys' fees, interest and ongoing royalties.
Pfizer issued the following statement Friday morning:
"Pfizer/BioNTech has not yet fully reviewed the complaint but we are surprised by the litigation given the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine was based on BioNTech’s proprietary mRNA technology and developed by both BioNTech and Pfizer," the company said. "We remain confident in our intellectual property supporting the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and will vigorously defend against the allegations of the lawsuit."

From what I read booster shots were offered to all eligible Americans beginning the week of Sept. 20. 2021 …
Lots of retired folks in Northeast have 2nd homes in places like Florida, not necessarily wealthy , and some of them succumbed to either COVID or the jab in Florida after the 1st wave. Plus quite a few younger folks out of a job without being a homeowner or having a family just packed up and headed south, especially out of places like NYC. Maybe the numbers are not significant, I don't have a handle on that.
More important is adjusting expected deaths in 2022 to account for the pull forward of excess deaths from 2020-2021
The problem I see with excess mortality over 2 years in is expected deaths are calculated using 2017-2019 averages but with 1.4 million excess deaths which initially began in the NE expected deaths should decline.as such excess deaths in 2022 may be understated.
Couple of other observations. Excess lockdowns in 2020 in NE and West drove many to migrate South (Florida) and East (Texas) which may have increased deaths in SE.
