Yellow Wrist/Arm Band Sunday for Aaron Rodgers and Medical Freedom!
The Chloroquine Wars Part XCII
"There is hopeful symbolism in the fact that flags do not wave in a vacuum." -Arthur C. Clarke
Note: A few edits have been made to the original article.
After last night's article on Aaron Rodgers and his vaccine hesitancy and choice of early outpatient medical care [that seems to have been quite effective], a clever RTE reader came up with a great idea: yellow wrist bands for medical freedom. This is the moment. Own it.
The plan is simple:
Wear a yellow arm band on Sunday.
The effect is greater in a crowd. The more people who wear yellow wrist bands, the more clear it is that we're not alone. You can do this whether or not you are vaccinated, of course. This is a statement of medical freedom, and for some an acknowledgement that we know there are doctors prescribing early treatment who have never stopped because they’ve seen the evidence in their own accounting, even if that’s not all published RCTs. Please forward this to a friend.
Optional upgrades:
Wear a green shirt or jersey plus a yellow wrist band.
Make or buy a green shirt with a yellow arm stripe. (If you're somebody who knows how to make/order/sell these shirts on the cheap, do it and sell them. Heck, I might buy a hundred and distribute them.)
Wear it every Sunday for the remainder of the season.
Wear it to a college football game.
Wear it to the grocery store.
Wear it anywhere you go.
Add the number 12. Lots of symbols there, too.
Advice:
Do not respond to hecklers.
Do not fight.
If asked about it, smile and give a simple answer: I support the right of Aaron Rodgers or anyone else's bodily autonomy in choice of medical treatment. Segregation is neither right, nor scientifically sound.
Stay safe. If somebody tells you that you have a punchable face, find the right protection. Be aware of the crazies and don't get caught in a dangerous situation.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but...You. Are. Not. Alone. A five-digit number of doctors and medical scientists have signed the Physicians Declarations.
Press that share button. Organize this now. Get the word out. Wave that flag. It's time for a common symbol.
What an ingenious strategy! Thank you for sharing this inspiring story. Let’s hope the yellow armbands catch on.
And that tweet poll from Alyssa Milano is VERY encouraging—92% of HER audience, likely almost 100% Covidians! Coming for the children may backfire big-time 🤞
