"We speak not only to tell other people what we think, but to tell ourselves what we think. Speech is a part of thought." -Oliver Sacks
The past few weeks have been a bit of a wild ride. For the moment, I am required to be vague in writing about it.
I largely stepped away from writing at RTE to work on what might be the most important project in which I will ever partake. I cannot talk about the details just now, but I feel like I was invited with a group of strangers into an unusual escape room that began with a large number of puzzle pieces, still in an unopened plastic bag, told not to open the bag, but to determine the picture when the pieces are correctly arranged. The pieces are holographic and two of the corner pieces turned out to be miscut. The people joining me in the puzzle room were all rearranged during the first few minutes of the process.
I think I've solved the puzzle, but presenting the solution is yet its own puzzle. And the solution may have global economic implications.
In the meantime, I want to share a few interviews. At the very least, it helps me maintain my humanity to talk a little about what I've been doing at Rounding the Earth. My original intention (in life) was to turn invisible with respect to any public attention. When I got involved in pandemic research in early 2020, I made more than six months of attempts to encourage others to dig at and present the truth. That failed, so here I am.
I try to maintain fidelity to my best understanding of both the details and the bigger picture. The latter discussion is always challenging. I do not pander to a large audience, and know that I likely say some things that will potentially make some readers angry with me. If I ever write up my take on Donald Trump, I'll probably lose 90% of my readership. But I decided a very long time ago not to work overly hard at satisfying an audience, but simply to try to continue to cultivate new knowledge, and practice the art of modeling that knowledge into a more truthful image of reality.
I will talk about this more in another article, but this perceptual schism that we're in is best understood in pieces by what I call the "new dissidents" who understand the corruption of their corner of the bureaucratic labyrinth.
The new dissidents among the physicians and medical scientists understand Big Pharma corruption. The new dissidents among those in or escaping from finance (who make up a solid part of the Bitcoin community) understand banking corruption. The new dissidents among those in or escaping from the intelligence community understand the corruption of the information games better than most people. This list could go on and on, but the problem is that very few of them can see into each others' realms without falling prey to the form of Gell-Mann amnesia most associated with the over-partitioning of expertise from the base of the Tree of Knowledge.
As a result, we are fractured, and the puzzles are harder to solve. It is hard, if not impossible, to present the images in a useful way. But I'll keep trying.
Some Interviews
I had a very enjoyable 2/22/22 interview (that rhymes well) with Health Freedom for Humanity (HFFH), but I don't yet have a link. It was a great discussion except for my cringeworthy inability to take compliments well—some sort of trauma response that I've never been able to shake. I really like what this group is doing, and I'm glad that there are several flavors of organizations (Global COVID Summit, FLCCC, AFLD,...HFFH) that may act as communities of rebuilders of a health/medical culture/system should we get the opportunity to reassemble something better. HFFH projects a tremendously positive vibe, so I recommend exploring their content.
Earlier this week I joined my friend Dr. Jessica Rose on Tommy's Podcast. Tommy runs a fun show. I'm surprised at how well he can keep an enjoyable atmosphere spinning while covering so many important and serious concepts. I woke up with two hours of sleep for the interview to find out that I'd had the most between the three of us. Hopefully we don't sound like a bunch of idiots, and I hope that everyone caught up on as much sleep as I did last night.
I was also interviewed recently by David Fite on his libertarian-themed podcast, and it might be said that we tested the limits of what YouTube's algorithms would quickly hunt down and deplatform. In fact, it might be a brutal drinking game to count the number of lines we crossed.
And the video of my interview with Kevin Barrett (Truth Jihad) makes it look like I have a huge funny nose.
Believe it or not, I used to be a much better public speaker. In fact, I helped start a college debate team without a coach or funding, and in three semesters won a state championship, made it to elimination rounds in two national tournaments, and won the Brady Garrison Newcomer of the Year award in the CEDA circuit after making it to the final round of an open NDT/CEDA event. But I'll have to polish those public speaking skills if I spend more time talking on camera.
In case anyone is wondering, I do have a tremor that has been with me since I was 10 or 11 years old. Some days you can spot it, and some you can't. I previously chalked it up to injury, but I have recently wondered if I suffered a vaccine injury because I've now met or talked to so many people who have had tremors after a vaccination. That adds a little bit of motivation to my research.
Speaking in front of a camera is its own animal, it's nowhere like speaking to a live audience or a group, so I don't think you need to feel you've lost any skill at oratory - it's a change, sure, but there are lots of techniques readily availble if one wants to practice.
Why should you lose readers for writing up/down/across about DT? A person who reacts with "Oh he didn't hate/love so-and-so enough, I'm dropping him" is just woke of another flavour.
An intelligent sane person can read whatever they want, think it over, and draw their own conclusions. Someone who insists on puritan purity and liturgical dogma in civil discourse is someone to avoid, as they are sick in the head.
“If I ever write up my take on Donald Trump, I'll probably lose 90% of my readership.”
At this point in the game, that shouldn’t matter a whit. When things really start coming apart I would hope folks would shrug off the chains of partisanship BS and unite for once. The bastards are trying to exterminate us( at least a decent portion anyway) for whatever sick reason, and we can’t just sit around and wait for their next move. Not saying violence is the answer, but inaction is insanity.
