Mathew I also drink stuff from jars. There is, and never was, a need for glasses or mugs. :)

Truer words were never spoken.

Honestly, I didn't get it until we became homemakers of cold brewed coffee. In the Texas heat, it's a delight. Now my wife is brewing tea that way as well.

Rumble is the way to go. YouTube is an exercise in constant bargaining and eggshell walking. Not worth it.

YouTube is well engineered. You have to give them that. The others will catch up, but the first mover advantage and data center advantage is not nothing. But I like supporting Rumble to defray that advantage.

Could not agree more. It is far and away the smoother and more entertaining experience. The AI knows what you like and consistently offers up an assortment of spot on, interesting videos. Rumble has a looong way to go to even approximate that. Still, as you say, supporting them needs to be done.

Looking forward to listening on a long drive tomorrow. Really enjoy your RTE Roundtables!

I think you're bang on the othering creating those kinds of conditions.

As far as my experience goes much of what you brought up rings familiar.

I'm very concerned about what was brought up about medical diagnoses however, we have seen the system weaponize health to rob everyone of their fundamental liberty...mental health hardly far behind.

Most of the people I meet at my local freedom groups aren't entirely made up of young men like me, there are a lot of older people and the majority of them are women, particularly grandmothers concerned for the future.

I call them "granny squad" with endearment.

It's good to know there are granny squads at such local events. Perhaps they just don't travel as often because the videos from conferences certain look like "Young Single Dude Festivals" (though I wouldn't know because conventions have not really been my thing much in life).

Being a 'dissident' means going against the mainstream - which is much easier for the already 'socially marginalised' who have little to lose... Also, 'analy-retentive' pastimes (such as coding, electronics or fringe politics etc.), have always tended to lie exclusively within the male domain - as women tend to be more socially-orientated entities (rarely being without intimate relationships, & more likely to be guardians of children etc.).

Due to the fact that more females are being pushed into higher education & gaining greater economic status etc. - more males are finding themselves socially excluded... Hypergamy ensures that most women will not regard this growing pool of 'bottom-rung' males as 'viable relationship material' - despite some efforts to reverse this trend by a few conscientious academics & the occasional sympathetic MSM article ("men make good stay-at-home dads..." etc.)....

There is also the 'chad' phenomenon to consider, where materially-secure women (through career or state support etc), revert to a kind of feral, mate-selection process, where the traditional, reliable 'nice guy' is discarded in place of the seemingly more exciting 'bad boy'; & in this climate, even intellect can become a maladaptation (unsexy)... Economics plays a big part in our lives - yet fundamentally, we are still slaves to our own biological impulses...
