I was banned for posting a quote from Mussolini, go figure.

“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power”

“Pharmauthoritarianism” was such a good word. Should’ve become part of the vernacular by now…

Just a quick note. Facebook is toxic but at the same time appeals to people who are not very intelligent. Twitter is just an irritating insect, who hire youngsters to work as censors. I like to remind these kiddie censors, it is your future. Tread carefully. This censorship mission will come back to haunt you.

I have not been active on social media since 2018ish. After seeing the Left go full McCarthyist over Trump, I knew the near future would become dystopic. Lately however I have thought about going back on Facebook and LinkedIn and just repeat, "Covid Policy killed a lot more people than the virus did," and see what happens.

And their share prices continue to sink, because they keep throwing real people off, leaving only bots that don’t click on ads.

The first thing that made me suspicious of facebook and led to me eventually deleting all my social media accounts was when I realized they were sending me friend requests from people but that --those people had not sent me a friend request--.

Instead, through their analysis of my information, connections, addresses and potentially location data they had decided that I should be friends with those people. That's not a social network, that's an exercise in manipulation.

Then you realize they manipulated feeds that should have just been chronological lists of your friend's posts. Then seeing them allow actual research into what happens if you push negative posts in someone's feed. And the list goes on. The writing was on the wall by the time I deleted mine during Trump's first campaign.

Facebook is the worst social media of all as it is designed from its roots as a tool of control.

Increasingly, I see the internet as a "Hundred Flowers Campaign." I only hope to survive in the margins as too unimportant to warrant official censure like some late Soviet-era dissident. The problem is that we are only in the beginning of our era of oppression.

Write, Right! “The writer's role is to menace the public's conscience. He must have a position, a point of view. He must see the arts as a vehicle of social criticism and he must focus on the issues of his time.”― Rod Serling

I got a Twitter timeout until I deleted a post that said “if you shoot yourself in the head and test positive on a PCR test, then you died of COVID according to the CDC”. Apparently I was inciting self-harm. 🤷‍♀️

So you were censored for what was clearly sarcasm, but if you were hating the "right" groups or praising the "right" Nazis then you'd be A-OK. (More on this absurdity here for anyone interested https://wholistic.substack.com/p/two-minutes-hate-only-acceptable - crazy.)

Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube - platforms for the woke and the snowflakes; would have been nice to use them, but in the end you waste more time and energy on fighting their idiotic rules and algorithms (and the haters) than doing productive work - I much appreciate the little notification mails from substack and then I can read at my leisure an article/paper without all the noise from "twitter-space" - thx for all your contributions, Mathew!
