Handling YouTube Censorship

I wanted to start this article off with a good joke about censorship, but [REDACTED].
The easiest way not to be surprised is to not be surprised. That means taking the time to read the room, take notes, and meditate on the totality of simple observations. And by "simple observations" I mean things like "YouTube is the video arm of the Medical Fascism community".
Around three months ago Liam was prodding me to fill out the remaining tax information paperwork so that we could continue to earn money from advertisements on the Rounding the Earth YouTube channel (or YouBoob as I sometimes call it). I told him that it literally wasn't worth my time, economically—there was no reason in the round Earth that we should expect for YouTube to continue to host us.
And I'm not a fan of pissing in the wind.
Last night, this happened.
My decision likely cost us a little over $100 (we never reached the $100 withdrawal minimum, but we would have had I filled out their paperwork). Podcasting complex topics on YouTube isn't exactly a major revenue generator. If we wanted to maximize income, we'd post funny and adorable lolcat videos (those and quality "how to" and education videos are the true value of YouTube, which will diminish as they virtually bludgeon wrongthink criminals).
YouTube did respond to my tweet, but I'm not one to suffer fools gladly. I'd prefer to save my diplomatic energy for human beings who still regard their souls as something useful.
You can still find RTE on Rumble (that's where I pay the most attention to user comments), our Locals community now streams, Odysee, Rokfin, Bitchute, Brighteon, and rooms where the adults are still in charge. These other platforms also host educational videos. And smarter animals.
This is the last straw for me and I love YouTube for the music videos but I've finally canceled my premium membership. I've put up with them canceling lots of channels that I liked but canceling Mathew and Rounding the earth is a bridge too far!
Google is literally the worst. They are truly what Orwell would have envisioned if he could have seen the future more accurately from a technology perspective.
