“It is not possible to step twice into the same river.” -Greek proverb

The Southeast European nation of Greece enjoys a position between the Ionian, Mediterranean, and Aegean Seas while simultaneously sitting within jogging or swimming (well, boating) distance from Africa, Asia, and European nations that did not ruin their economies by hiring investment banks to cook the books while taking on crippling IMF loans in order to join the Eurozone.
Greece is the home of the expansive ancient democracy centered around Athens that achieved noteworthy advances in philosophy, law, Mathematics, architecture, and statues of people wearing loincloths. Greece is also a good reminder that nations are like clouds. If you stare at them long enough, you can see a face.
Bucking the Trend With Early Treatment During the Early Pandemic
The above map serves to compare Greece with other nations in its close neighborhood. Like Turkey, Greece committed early to the use of hydroxychloroquine and antibiotics to combat COVID-19 at the first sign of symptoms. Greece received mass shipments of HCQ in March 2020 and used it throughout the "pandemic", never developing a serious outbreak or death toll relative to many other nations throughout 2020.
There is scarcely little information about the possession or use of medicines such as hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) or ivermectin (IVM) by Greek neighbors Montenegro, Kosovo, or Northern Macedonia. On the other hand, Albania banned the use of these drugs.
Three other nations in the area used HCQ, however. Bulgaria also began using HCQ early on, maintaining a low spread and a low and sinking case fatality rate (CFR). Also, Serbia used HCQ, and while the viral spread got a little out of hand after late May 2020, Serbia maintained a far better CFR than nearly any nation in Europe and all but a few around the world.
Greece’s Experimental Mass Vaccination Campaign
At the tail end of 2020, Greece experienced a COVID-19 wave that justified to its Public Health authorities the use of vaccines beginning on December 28, 2020. The Hellenic Ministry of Health has deployed Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Novavax vaccines in order. The first four were deployed by May 2021, with Novavax deployment beginning in March 2022.
Strangely, in the days before and after that moment of starting vaccination, most age groups in Greece suffered sudden mortality shocks which then reverted. This is consistent with a program of culling people who are about to die for the purpose of engineering a wave of mortality ahead of the mass vaccination program in order to engineer the appearance of continuity.
From mid-February 2021 onward, all but the youngest Greek demographic has experienced substantial and often sustained excess mortality. Greece also went from outperforming most European nations to suffering worse COVID-19 mortality that still kills more in 2022 than it did in 2020. Almost 76% of Greeks received at least one vaccine dose compared to the rest of Europe’s 69% rate. Rates of fully vaccinated and total doses administered are in similar proportion.
In 2021, Greece saw a large Summertime spike in cardiac-associated mortality.
Despite the many-fold explosions in detected infection and disease since vaccine rollout, a study out of Greece claims that the vaccinated showed a 90% protection rate that waned only to 80% protection over six months (Lytras et al, 2022) in a paper co-authored by spokesman for the Hellenic Ministry of Health, Sotirios Tsiodras. The paper also states that the young are at less than 0.1% less risk of death from COVID-19 than the elderly, which makes you wonder why the young would need to risk vaccination.
Not only is Greece another example of a nation succeeding with early treatment medicine that turned dismal after the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines, one might wonder if people deemed likely soon-to-die were pushed off the cliff in the days leading up to the vaccine rollout in order to create the appearance of a serious COVID-19 mortality wave that spanned into the deaths of those harmed by vaccination.
19 Pandemic National Case studies and counting.
Most of them make early treatment meds look good or great.
Not one of them makes the vaccines look like anything but poison.

Dear Mathew, i have been following your excellent work for a long time, and it was instrumental in persuading me to get HXQ and also avoid the jab. I am a historian living in Greece. I cannot thank you enough for this. It is true that we imported HXQ, a greek pharma did it on philanthropic grounds, not the state, and it had positive publicity for a few weeks, but a huge campaign against it followed and i doubt whether it was ever administered via the national health service. Notwithstanding lively discussions at the time, very few people, me included, were for it, and as far as i know it was not widely used.
