Engaging in Research, so Less Writing for a Bit…
I currently have several dozen partially-written essays, many of them important to the early treatment medicine controversies related to COVID-19, the world economy, both, and other topics. However, I have been asked to run an analysis on some treatment data, intended for publication. The analysis should be easy to perform and write up, fortunately. However, I am navigating a new bureaucracy for the first time in order to prepare it. As a result, I will be publishing less, if at all, at least for a little while---perhaps a couple of weeks.
I updated this newsletter's primary summary an hour ago and it is pinned to the top of the newsletter page. If you want to bookmark one Rounding the Earth newsletter page, that's the one.
In the meantime, please help push the articles at Rounding the Earth into the hands of those who need to read them to make informed decisions. Take note of the sources I use as many of them publish good summaries and research. I take pains to incorporate substantial and complete citations in the form of links for all of them. Let us be thankful for the thousands of honest and diligent doctors, researchers, and journalists still willing to dig deep to do the right thing. My task of documenting all that is the easy one, and I recognize that. Put finding ways to encourage people to open their minds up to the labyrinth designed to control information means relying on trust networks, many of which are under attack these days.
Remember that you are not at all alone. I get emails all the time from people who recognize the need to rebuild strong institutions, medical or otherwise, more locally in order to get the jobs of society done and done well. We all have a part to play.
Keep in good health, forge new relationships, and forgive the mistakes of earnest people as they recognize where they have been led.
