Note: Alladan Flinn is the entrepreneur behind my personally ahistorical purchase of trading cards a few weeks ago.
If you're at the point of curiosity to learn more about the potential culture change associated with Bitcoin, this is a good interview to watch. He loves explaining Bitcoin to people. He acknowledged that he's "that guy" and "one of those", but says he is self-aware enough to have channeled his joy of talking Bitcoin to building a business around it. It started with consulting, moved into trading cards, and is headed for a mixture of comics, games, and other curricular materials. Alladan is one of those extremely positive and optimistic people who is grounded in reality. Behind the scenes we talked about the ugliness, decay, and growing violence in many parts of America. But the entrepreneurial spirit is one that looks for solutions. Some of Alladan's solutions are close to my heart—education. There may be collaboration in the future on that front. I am grateful that he spent nearly two hours with me today in the studio.
Forgive the bitcoin-illiterate question, but if bitcoin is located somewhere in the electronic-data-sphere, not in a hard asset like cash or gold or useful things .. and, if there perhaps should arise totalitarian govt's that don't want people empowered with ways to transact business outside of their control grid, is it possible they could cut off access to bitcoin?
