Recently, my wife and I embarked on an experiment to introduce ourselves to raw milk from a farm shop around 20 minutes from where we live. Unfortunately, both times, this resulted in my experiencing a migraine. Both times, the migraine forced me out of commission almost entirely for around three days.
Has anyone heard of such a reaction, and could it be temporary?
Understand that I'm mildly lactose intolerant. Because I don't consume a great deal of milk, it's not often a problem. I do think I can tolerate the butter (my wife skimmed the cream and made it herself once, but we also purchased a tub to cook with last time around).
I do suspect that we'll try a third round before giving up. It may be that we overpurchased (two gallons in a two person household outside of hosting family) due to Thanksgiving, then overconsumed (more hot cocoa than usual) in order to use it up, which pushed me past my tolerance level. But these migraines are brutal and result in most of a week of lost work time in total. Not fun.
This week I haven't moved forward with writing due to 4-5 hours of meetings and podcasts daily, and then not pushing myself the usual 12-13 hours of the work day. So, I'll share some of the podcasts and videos.
Severe Adverse Events and mRNA Degradation
This discussion with Jessica Rose also veered into the "hot lots" theory that neither of us gives much credence to. We discussed the primary variables and began a modeling conversation that we could not fully complete due to time constraints.
World Premier of "Dude Suddenly" Video Coming!
I've been working on a super-duper-secret project with a friend. It's coming. It cannot be censored.
We're calling it, "Dude Suddenly", and while it isn't the main goal of the project, it may just answer the question, "What does Jeffrey Dahmer have to do with pandemic public health policy?"
It's going to be powerful.
You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll rewrite your will so that I inherit a substantial portion of your estate.
Spoiler alert: the CDC never told Jeffrey Dahmer how many people he could have for Thanksgiving dinner.
Kidding aside (you probably won't cry), RTE will soon release what will hopefully be one of many video projects with greater and lesser levels of seriousness as a hallmark of RTE.
What?!
Glad you asked. You'll have to subscribe to the RTE Rumble channel to find out.
A Conversation with Reinette Senum
It's good to find more people who didn't go insane during the plandemonium. Former mayor (California) Reinette Senum seems to have stood her mental ground through the zombie apocalypse. She invited me on her podcast for a broad discussion, but I appreciate that she singled out my discussions of parasocial Dunbar hacking and Asch conformity experiments because I think it's as under-discussed as Unissant.

Be Not Afraid
Like Daniel with the big kittens.
That's all for now, but I'll leave you with what I consider the phrase of the millennium: Be not afraid. I mean…take a nap even. Why not? It’s the right thing to do when you have a nasty headache and are surrounded by big, menacing cats.
Look—we're all going to die. It's part of the cycle of life. Accept that difficult pill, and living through challenging times gets a lot easier. It becomes easier to both work hard and also laugh again—all at the same time. And laugh we should. That's the cure to a lot of pathogens, not excluding the public health apparatus.
Note: All comments about the raw milk and experiment and migraines are appreciated. And they amounted to much better than I got from physicians chat groups (though I was offered prescriptions).
I received dozens of emails and do not plan to respond to them, though many have been educational and helpful and the reading will take some time.
Raw milk has probiotics which could kill off some infection in the gut producing a herx reaction. After the reaction resolves, if you notice improvements in your health, that is the indication. Otherwise not.
